Andrea Cox put in an excellent run in Relish Running Race’s Cheddar Challenge 10K trail race on Sunday 17th August.

Cox crossed the line in 64.13- a brilliant first place in her category (F ¬†40-49). This put her 7th lady to finish and 48th of 125 runners overall. ¬†Hopefully her prize of O2 creation vouchers will be sent on in the post. Conditions on the course were challenging after heavy rain. She said, “it was a hard run, quite muddy and slightly longer in distance. I met some lovely people from other running clubs and enjoyed the jelly beans at the end of race”.

Cox has been a member of Cheddar running club for less than a year. She is training hard for the Bristol half marathon, which she will run for charity.

Well done on a great result, Andrea!
