Andrea Cox put in an excellent run in Relish Running Race’s Cheddar Challenge 10K trail race on Sunday 17th August.

Cox crossed the line in 64.13- a brilliant first place in her category (F  40-49). This put her 7th lady to finish and 48th of 125 runners overall.  Hopefully her prize of O2 creation vouchers will be sent on in the post. Conditions on the course were challenging after heavy rain. She said, “it was a hard run, quite muddy and slightly longer in distance. I met some lovely people from other running clubs and enjoyed the jelly beans at the end of race”.

Cox has been a member of Cheddar running club for less than a year. She is training hard for the Bristol half marathon, which she will run for charity.

Well done on a great result, Andrea!
