Cheddar running club was well represented at the Wells City Harriers 10K on Sunday 25th May. Nine runners took on the two lap hilly route, which included some tricky sections through muddy farmland.

Jason Woodcock, showing no signs of fatigue after running in the final prom race three days earlier, was first home for Cheddar in a PB of 45.40. The unstoppable Jim Scott was next home in 46:24, followed by Emma Zarrabi (46:33) who put in an amazing effort to come home 4th lady and second in her category, despite having also raced in the prom run days before.
Mikki Coates completed in 48:09, followed by Cath Frith (48.42), Gill Constable (56.45), Nigel Redman (57.17), Jan Ward (62:54) and Merlene Hardwick (68.50).
